Viewing nature through a manmade barrier: such is the fundamental impulse behind the installation @ Stacie's Yard .

As light filters in through the transparent plastic stretch wrap, it at once blends the plastic wrap into the environment and makes it stand out. The resulting "conversation" between the art installation and the environment--that is to say, between the artificial and the natural--shifts and turns just like a real conversation: as the light dims or grows, as the sun rises or sets, hitting the plastic film at different angles, reflecting off or absorbed into it.
